I know you're working hard to build a reputation in your field as a brilliant scholar with serious ideas. But if you don't start developing an equally serious argument about those ideas, you're in danger of becoming the entirely forgettable "what's their name...? With the mildly interesting observation about X (topic)?" 

To contribute to the scholarly conversations you want to have and to help us understand the world around us a little better, you need an argument. A real one. Not a topic-as-argument, an observation, a research question without an answer, or a statement. Developing an argument is the KEY rhetorical move you need to master to advance your career and make the impact you want to make in your field as a scholar. 

But if you're an academic writer in the humanities or social sciences who's never learned how to craft a compelling argument (because no one's ever just sat you down and *taught you how*), you're probably struggling way more than necessary to figure out how to develop your ideas into something that not only gets you published and noticed, but that really *matters* and says something important. 

I want better for you.  I'm offering you 90 minutes of my time split into two sessions (a before and after!) in which we sit down and really talk about your argument and make it better. A lot better. You're going to come away with not only a plan to drastically improve your argument, but a new sense of clarity and confidence around what you're really trying to say.
